A Storm Is Coming....

A storm is coming to our part of the state so the shop was hopping today with customers coming by to pick up yarn to knit....and lucky for us they shared all of their latest creations.  We love to see what you're knitting or crocheting...bring your creations by so we can post them here to share with everyone!
Isabel knit these sweet little socks for children.  She used the Yankee Knitter Classic Socks pattern.  Louet Gems sock yarn was used for this project

Carol knit this Snowboarder hat from the Need A Hat? by Cabin Fever.  This was a recent class that she taught at the shop.  She used Louet Gems merino wool Bulky/Chunky weight.

Sue knit these beautiful Hedgerow Mitts from Malabrigio sock yarn.

Sue also knit this lovely shawl called Midwest Moonlight from Interweave Knits Accessories 2009. She used Shibui yarn for this project which is an Alpaca DK weight.  She changed the pattern slightly.

Sam knit this Basil Hat designed by Christiane Burkhard.  She used Mochi Plus yarn which is a beautiful and colorful yarn that lots of people are enjoying knitting with at the shop.  Sam also made mittens and as well as a scarf out of this yarn.  Check out her Ravelry page to read more.
