What's New This Week At YARNS WITH A TWIST -

It is that time of the year when the yarn reps are out selling and Sandee was an eager buyer. She went on a spending spree with the rep from Cascade and the result is an order of yarns from that will keep your needles clicking for spring, summer and beyond. This order is already on it's way and will soon be in the shop.

Cascade 220 Superwash Sport –
100% Superwash Wool, 220 yards, 5 sts per inch on US 7
Pacific – 40% Superwash Merino Wool/60% Acrylic,
213 yards per skein, 4 ½ to 5 stitches
per inch on US 7 or 8

Venezia Sport – 70% Merino Wool and 30% Mulberry Silk,
307 yards per skein, 6 sts per inch on US 4
Ultra Pima Fine - 100% Cotton,
136 yards per skein, 6 sts per inch on US 3 or 4.
AND
Heritage Silk Paints (sorry no photo) – 85% Merino Superwash Wool and 15% Mulberry Silk, 437 yards per skein, gauge 7 sts per inch, on US 2 or 3.

From Crystal Palace:

From the Crystal Palace website: "Aria has a unique structure - it is two alternating yarns in one ball, changing every few yards from a nubbly mochi slow stripe wool wrapped with a fine thread to a soft chenille printed in colors to coordinate with the wool portion. The effect is a changing color and texture with lovely effects. Knit it alone or combine with other yarns, especially Mochi Plus."
