The January Skacel KAL begins today. Part one of the instructions is now available at - http://knitpurlhunter.com/kal/
This month's pattern is for a pair of mittens, or fingerless mitts, that will include a cable pattern. The KAL is using either one or two skeins of Simpliworsted. One skein if you are making the fingerless mitts, two skeins for the mittens. YWAT still has a nice selection of colors available. You will also need size 5 and 7 double pointed needles (or size necessary to achieve desired gauge).
The Mitten, Hat and Scarf Workshop will soon be back on Tuesday nights. This is a good first project to begin the New Year.
