November Skacel Knit-A-Long Now Available Online

Are you ready to knit Toe-Up-Socks?  The November Skacel Knit-A-Long is now available online. http://knitpurlhunter.com/kal/  For those that have second sock syndrom, that is you complete one sock and never begin the other, this KAL utilizes the method of knitting two socks at one time either on two circular needles or magic loop. To participate in this KAL though you are not required to knit two at a time and you can use double pointed needles.

The cast on method (Judy's Magic Cast On) used might be unfamiliar especially if you have never knitted socks toe up. If you need help, the video available on the KAL website is very informative. If you prefer more one-on-one assistance, Barbara will be available at the shop both this Saturday (November 5) and next Saturday (November 12) to help you begin. (Note - Barbara will be knitting her socks one at a time using either double pointed needles or two circulars.)

Royal Yarn is a blend of Merino Wool, Nylon and Cashmere. It is available in solid colors only and there is still a nice selection of colors available at the shop. For this project you will need two skeins and size 1 needles.
