Indulge in color

Ellyn Cooper, a local hand dye artist, brought in a shop sample of a new shawlette she did.
The colors of her yarn are extraordinarily rich.

This gorgeous piece is called "Zohar Multi Task" and took 2 skeins of Zohar socks (color Old Orchard and Fern Gully). The colors and pattern will be available here. Also check out her other  yarns.

We got in some new colors of Triana from Katia yarns. Just the right yarn to make a quick and easy ruffled scarf. You will get a free pattern with the purchase of a skein of this fun yarn to make a scarf like shown on the picture below. It only takes one skein!

Triana can also be used for edgings of sweaters, cuffs......

Shop Remodel...Classes

Patterns and magazines...

More books and yarn...
We've remodeled the shop a little bit.  We've moved some shelves around...organized the books so that you can browse through them more easily.  We've also organized the magazines so that they are more readily accessible.  We've also arranged another entire shelf of new sock yarn.  Come by for a visit and see how great everything looks!

New Book Corner...just a small selection of what we carry.

Barb Williams knit this beautiful shawl out of Dale of Norway/Svale which is Viscose, Cotton and Silk. The approximate size of this is 18inches wide by 72inches long.  She used a size 5 needle vs. a size 6 and Cast on 72 stitches.  This shawl has a lovely weight to it and the color is stunning! Barb is one of our many talented teachers here at the shop.

Barb knit these beautiful Bella Mittens out of Katia Peru.  These mittens call for 2 skeins and are knit on size 8dpn.  This is a free pattern available on subliminalrabbit. We are having a class for this mitten tomorrow night from 7-9pm.  We still have room in the class so please call if you're interested.  We'd love to have you in Barb's class!  She's made several pairs of these mittens and says they are an easy knit.

Kathy P. knit this gorgeous Entrelac Scarf.  She used Opus from Zitron for this piece.  We are having a class upcoming in this...see sidebar.

Sandee knit this very pretty Entrelac Hat using Opus.  See sidebar for class information.
