Holiday time in the shop....

The little gnomes are showing up in the shop again. Linda W. knit this little gnome out of Silky Wool. He's holding a little bag to tuck his treasures in.

Here is Sandee's grandson in his beautiful new sweater that she knit for him.  We had a brief chance to see it on him before he was off to fly home out West.  It is a perfect fit and he looks so cute in it!

Susan knit up this this little bear for the Motherbear Project.  This was her first little toy that she knit and it came out so cute.  Some lucky little child will soon be receiving this.  If you'd like to contribute a bear to this project look up The Motherbear Project.  We are a drop off for these sweet little bears.

Milva crocheted her first snowflake doily.  She did a wonderful job.

Christiane says this about her new design and free pattern...

Teaching at my local yarn shop I'm always looking for easy but fun patterns for novice knitters.  Since I wanted to make a shop sample out of this yarn...I came up with this pattern.  This scarf/cowl is knitted in the round and with a bulky yarn it is a fast and easy knit.  The pattern comes in two sizes.  The longer version looks great folded over and held with a pin.  The shorter version is just a simple cowl to add warmth and color on cold winter days.
