Christiane Burkhard....Shawl Naming Contest

Christiane Burkhard one of our teachers and designers in the shop is having a contest over on her blog Lismiknits!  She has designed a beautiful new shawl and she's asking for name suggestions for the shawl.  The contest goes until this Friday and then comments will be closed. Just leave a comment and you'll be entered into the contest.  She and her family will pick the name they like the best and the winner will receive BOTH the pattern and the yarn to complete the shawl as a PRIZE! Lismiknits has a post over on her blog about Dirty Water Dyeworks after meeting them at the New England Fiber Festival this weekend.

Patches...new design!

Christiane Burkhard has just been published with her pattern Patches Baby Cardigan.  Patches will be in Sock Yarn One-Skein Wonders: 101 Patterns That Go Way Beyond Socks! Congratulations Christiane...we are so proud of you.  We love this design.  We've already had one class in this baby cardigan and knitters are loving making it.  Come by to see it in person at the shop. The book will be out on November 13.  The pattern will also be available in Christiane's  Etsy shop soon.
