INTRO TO ENTRELAC
”Entrelac is defined
as a knitting technique that produces a fabric with a woven appearance – tiers
of tilting blocks appear to run over and under each other worked in one piece
as a series of interconnecting rectangle.” Are you now feeling sufficiently
intimidated? Don’t be – Entrelac knitting is not only fun but the end results
leave you with a project you will be proud of.
Margaret will introduce class
participants to Entrelac knitting by making a simple washcloth using one skein
of worsted weight. If you feel more adventurous you can start right in on the
Hobo Bag (pictured) from "Entre to Entrelac" by Gwen Bortner.
When: Wednesday, February 29th,
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Instructor: Margaret
Level: Advanced beginner. (You must know how to knit and purl.)
Please purchase your yarn and supplies (including book if making the Hobo Bag) prior to the beginning of class. For class participants the books will be 20% off.

resecure the snaps on the back to form an easel. Covered in a sturdy
black jacquard polyester fabric for long wear. 12½" x 9½" opened flat, 9½" x 6¼" closed.
OUR CUSTOMERS MAKE THE PRETTIEST THINGS
Donna Peer made this beautiful scarf. The
pattern is a leaf pattern and she knit it with Sheep Shop.
