Tuesday, November 1st
Time – 5pm to 8 pm

Attend whatever Tuesdays you want and stay the full three hours or less. The shop is normally closed Tuesday evenings for regular business. It will remain open only to accommodate this workshop.

Pattens for the Woolie Bullie mittens, Beaded Christmas Tree Mittens and the new Classic Elite book featuring the Molly Scarf and other great patterns have been ordered and  should be available on November 1st.

Left - Completed Molly Scarf knitted with 5 skeins of JoJoland Rhythm yarn. Quick project that uses simple short rows to create the ruffle edge. Finished scarf is 72" long. Yarn for this scarf costs less than $30.00 and YWAT has a nice selection available at the shop.  Someone on your holiday list would love to receive this scarf this year.

EINSTEIN COAT or NOT-SO-WARM COAT

 The pattern is described as
* Very easy
* Lots of Knitting
* Minimal Finishing
My kind of pattern! The Einstein Coat or Not-So-Warm Jacket is the perfect project for the beginner knitter who is ready to make something besides scarves, hats and mittens. As with all patterns in this book all you have to know is how to cast on and the knit stitch. The pattern is also constructed in such a way that if you would prefer making a shorter version it can be easily accomplished.
The Einstein Jacket and Not-So-Warm are the same pattern just use different weight yarn. The Einstein Jacket is knit with a bulky weight yarn and the Not-So-Warm Coat with a worsted weight.

When: Saturday, October 29th 2pm - 4pm
Instructor: Barbara
Material: Worsted yarn, size US 4 and 6 needles
Bulky yarn, size US 8 and 10 needles

Please select yarn prior to class
This will be a Knit-A-Long and additional class dates will be chosen.
Pattern by Sally Melville: The Knitting Experience: Book 1: The Knit Stitch. Available at Yarns With A Twist
