A great resource for knitting help is Knitting Help. They offer free videos for you to watch on all types of knitting techniques. For example basic stitch patterns, fixing mistakes, joining yarn, knitting in the round, picking up stitches, how to make an i-cord. They have a great video on How to Make a Center-Pull Ball. Knitting Help also has a channel on Youtube knittinghelp channel.
Hook&Needles is another site with technique help for crochet and knitting.
Twitter has knitting help if you are interested. You can post questions and get answers from many
people.
Knitting Forums is another place to go for help or to discuss knitting techniques or questions.
And of course there is Ravelry! Yarnswithatwist has a group on ravelry and we'd love for you to join us.
